About the Role
The Olympic Club is seeking an on-call Front Desk Attendant to serve as a key touch point for member service, acting as a guest service agent, greeter, problem solver, and reservationist.
Responsibilities
- Handle member requests and concerns
- Offer referrals for services and handle requests for information
- Assist members and guests
- Manage heavy telephone volume and take event & dining reservations
- Distribute club mail
- Maintain inventory of club equipment
- Perform basic administrative duties
- Handle and store luggage and coats
- Assist other departments as required
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Superior communication skills
- Fluent oral and written English communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Good organizational skills
- Effective conflict management and decision-making
- Ability to use a variety of computer applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel
