About the Role

Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company focused on building the Waymo Driver to improve mobility and safety. The People team supports Waymo's employees in a healthy, considerate, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the entire recruiting life-cycle, including sourcing activity.
• Build and execute an equitable, inclusive, and accessible hiring system.
• Manage hiring manager relationships, defining needs, advising on leveling, and driving hiring decisions.
• Perform recruiting analyses and talent assessments to optimize search strategy and hiring productivity.
• Manage candidate relationships, providing excellent candidate care and experience.
• Extend, negotiate, and close offers, recommending offer close strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in full lifecycle technical recruiting, including experience with international companies.
• Familiarity with software engineering hiring profiles.
• Aptitude for technical terminology and concepts.
• Proven success closing candidates.
• Experience working directly with senior engineering leadership.
• Experience owning and improving hiring processes.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced hiring environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
