About the Role
Superhuman is seeking a dedicated product designer to own the Android platform, leveraging its unique features for proactive AI assistance and shaping the future of the Superhuman suite on mobile.
Responsibilities
- Set the design vision for Superhuman on Android, defining how a multi-product AI platform appears coherently on the phone.
- Design Go on Android, shaping its native feel and leveraging OS capabilities for ambient assistance and deeper system integrations.
- Evolve the Grammarly Android experience, sharpening visual hierarchy and improving patterns for feature discoverability.
- Help define the future input experience by designing how voice, agents, and the overlay come together.
- Establish the Android design foundation by building patterns, components, and onboarding frameworks.
- Hold the craft line by staying close to engineers, prototyping, and iterating until the product feels right.
Requirements
- Senior-level product design experience with a portfolio showcasing shipped Android work.
- Clear point of view on Material Design, overlays, accessibility services, and mobile spatial constraints.
- Demonstrated craft across interaction, visual, and motion design.
- Experience designing AI-native or agent-driven products, or a strong appetite for it.
- Fluency in prototyping using Figma and modern AI tools.
- Willingness to push prototypes into real builds.
- Track record of operating independently in fast-moving environments.
- Ability to set direction, manage priorities, and partner productively with PMs and engineers.
