About the Role
Join a fast-growing robotics and AI company developing advanced autonomous vehicle, robotics, and artificial intelligence technologies designed to improve safety, efficiency, and scalability across transportation, mining, and infrastructure industries.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles during testing and data collection activities
- Drive up to 6 hours per shift in urban and highway environments
- Monitor vehicle software systems while maintaining safe driving practices
- Execute structured test scenarios including construction zones, roundabouts, heavy pedestrian traffic, and complex roadway conditions
- Collect operational data and document vehicle performance
- Identify, document, and report unusual vehicle behaviors and edge-case scenarios
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure cameras, LiDAR, radar systems, and sensors remain clean and operational
- Assist with troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Operations Teams
- Create clear written reports and provide verbal feedback regarding system performance
Requirements
- Valid U.S. Driver's License held continuously for at least 5 years
- Excellent driving record with no major violations
- Strong defensive driving skills and situational awareness
- Ability to remain focused and attentive for extended periods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with technology and software systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and highly reliable
- Ability to follow structured testing procedures and operational guidelines
