About the Role

The Bond Clerk at dnata Catering plays a critical role in ensuring the secure handling, tracking, and compliance of all bonded and duty-free goods within the operation. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory movement, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all bonded materials are properly stored, controlled, and accounted for in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The Bond Clerk works closely with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to support inventory integrity, compliance, and on-time service delivery in a fast-paced aviation catering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control all bonded and duty-free inventory to ensure proper storage, handling, and compliance
  • Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of all bonded goods movement
  • Ensure all bonded storage areas are secure, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct routine inventory checks and audits of bonded goods
  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure proper issuance and reconciliation of bonded items
  • Identify and report discrepancies in inventory, documentation, or compliance standards
  • Support inbound and outbound inventory processes related to bonded goods
  • Ensure adherence to all customs, TSA, and company compliance regulations
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and reporting for audit readiness
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency
  • Follow all HACCP, safety, and security protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Additional coursework or certification in logistics, inventory, or compliance preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or bonded goods handling preferred
  • Strong understanding of inventory tracking and documentation processes
  • Knowledge of bonded storage regulations or willingness to learn
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and inventory tracking tools
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Continuously multi-task under time limits
  • Requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards
