About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Paid Manager to lead performance media across a portfolio of high-stakes brands, owning the strategy, work, and outcomes. You will mentor a team, set the standard for craft, and serve as the senior representative of TGI's paid practice for your accounts. This role is for someone ready to step up, capable of managing senior client relationships, possessing a vision for the future of paid media, and skilled in scaling teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance media across a portfolio of high-stakes clients, owning strategy, work, and outcomes.
  • Serve as the senior face of TGI's paid practice for assigned accounts.
  • Develop multi-channel paid strategies, including approach, KPIs, and test-and-learn roadmaps.
  • Lead senior client discussions on performance, planning, and growth.
  • Incorporate external insights into client briefs, considering industry context, platform shifts, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze and adjust plans based on real-world results.
  • Mentor and manage Paid Managers and Senior Executives, reviewing work, setting craft standards, and providing structured feedback.
  • Contribute to pitch strategies and conduct internal sessions to develop the team.
  • Build career paths and manage progression for direct reports.
  • Establish analytics frameworks, identify trends, and translate them into agency-wide best practices.
  • Lead in-depth performance reviews and conduct experiments to drive metric improvements.
  • Manage forecasts and revenue for the portfolio, identifying risks and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure scopes are accurate, manage budget burn, and coach the team on financial precision.
  • Engage confidently with CMOs and Marketing Directors, using data and conviction.
  • Collaborate with creative leads to brief, review, and optimize paid-first creative.
  • Champion creative testing as a primary driver of performance gains.

Requirements

  • A strong track record in senior paid media roles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance media.
  • A portfolio showcasing senior-led campaigns at significant scale.
  • Ability to confidently lead discussions with CMOs and Marketing Directors.
  • Proven experience in coaching and developing paid media talent.
  • Strategic thinking, including developing roadmaps and test plans.
  • Ability to integrate external context into strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in partnering with creative leads, briefing effectively, and developing paid-first creative.
  • Commercial acumen, including forecast ownership, margin awareness, and scope management.
  • Ability to remain calm and lead responses during performance dips, platform outages, or last-minute changes.
  • Commitment to high standards in campaign basics like naming, structure, QC, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and platform-native AI.
  • A point of view on current AI applications in paid media and shaping team usage.
  • Curiosity about emerging trends like AI in paid, signal loss, retail media, and new platforms.
  • Ability to shape strategies for emerging trends.
