About the Role
As a Project Architect, you will be the technical referent for signalling projects, responsible for all system activities and QCD on system deliveries. You will define the project deployment strategy, baselining, and all design choices, proposing customer-oriented and cost-effective solutions. You will act as the technical interface between Platforms and the Customer to ensure smooth implementation of the delivered system.
Responsibilities
- Check gap analysis with SAA at project launch.
- Present and promote Alstom solutions to Customers, participate in Q&A sessions, and organize technical meetings.
- Capture and analyze Project Technical Requirements.
- Elaborate the System Design, ensuring it meets customer needs and optimizes costs.
- Write Project System specifications and documents considering various constraints.
- Define Project Baselines Strategy and ensure consistency with the System Delivery Plan.
- Organize Kick-Off Meetings for each Baseline to validate Baseline Scope Freeze.
- Coordinate closely with verification and validation activities, and support integration and testing phases.
- Act as the front office for troubleshooting and root cause identification.
- Organize Design Reviews with Platform Technical Director and conduct Peer Reviews.
- Capture Return of Experience and formalize feedback to Platforms.
- Support Customer Trainings.
- Optionally support bids team during the tender phase.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Industrial Control Systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in system design for complex electronic systems.
- Knowledge of signalling systems (highly recommended).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Autonomous and rigorous with good synthesis and coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
