About the Role

As a Team Member, you will be the key to making customers feel welcome and help to create the atmosphere needed to deliver a great gaming experience. MERKUR Slots is committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
• Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer actions and behaviour, noting any suspicious or disruptive behaviour.
• Assist with any required administration to 100% accuracy.
• Help ensure promotions run smoothly and are a success.
• Ensure customer service is carried out in line with company standards, resulting in customer satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
• Interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate, logging all interactions.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, adhering to the brand dress code.
• Achieve, maintain, and impart great product knowledge to customers.
• Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25.
• Actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination against employees, management or customers.

Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
• Have a passion for providing first-class service.
• Be flexible and able to work on a rota basis that includes weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
• Experience working in a retail, hospitality or gambling environment.
• Experienced delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
