About the Role
Support clinical research sites with patient recruitment, retention, and study-specific education. Act as a trusted point of contact for trial-related education, site engagement, and recruitment support, partnering with research sites, investigators, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clinical research sites to develop study-specific action plans supporting patient recruitment, retention, and study delivery.
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and site staff on clinical trial protocols, procedures, and study requirements.
- Support study-specific training needs, helping sites understand and implement trial processes effectively.
- Identify and help address recruitment and retention barriers, sharing best practices and practical solutions.
- Work with referral networks where appropriate to help identify potential trial participants.
- Interact directly with patients to provide education on the trial, disease area, or device/medication (where required and appropriate).
- Analyze site activity and engagement data to tailor strategies that maximize pre-screening, screening, and enrollment.
- Complete internal reporting and documentation accurately.
- Organize or support group meetings, site visits, and educational sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and disease states.
- Manage queries or objections from site staff in a professional, solution-focused manner.
- Oversee company equipment and adhere to all compliance and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or a related field.
- Registered Nurse experience is ideal.
- Experience in a Clinical Trial Educator / Site Engagement & Enrolment position or similar role within clinical research / studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A collaborative, customer-focused mindset and a genuine interest in clinical research.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for support.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Flexibility to travel as required for site visits.
- Cultural awareness, empathy, and professionalism when working with diverse patients and site teams.
