About the Role
This is a key back-office support role that contributes directly to the safe, reliable and professional operation of our services for Transport for London and the travelling public. Working closely with garages and external organisations, you will play an important role in ensuring CCTV footage is managed, maintained and delivered accurately, lawfully and on time.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining CCTV systems fitted to buses, vehicles and Go-Ahead London properties
- Downloading CCTV footage and supporting garages and authorised external organisations
- Responding promptly to CCTV requests, prioritising appropriately based on risk and urgency
- Ensuring all CCTV requests comply with GDPR and are authorised and justified
- Identifying, reporting and following up faults on CCTV and wireless systems (LANLink)
- Monitoring CCTV equipment warranties and ensuring repairs are completed where applicable
- Providing sickness and holiday cover within the CCTV team rota
- Travelling to other garages as required to support maintenance and downloads
Requirements
- Have a good working knowledge of garage operations and procedures
- Ideally have experience or awareness of Go-Ahead London’s CCTV systems
- Be organised, methodical and able to manage your workload independently
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Remain calm, professional and positive when working under pressure
- Be flexible and willing to work early, late, night shifts and weekends
- Hold a full UK driving licence
