About the Role
You will be responsible for the system architecture and continuous development of our charging operations systems, with a focus on CPMS and Charging Backend. You will ensure the stable operation of our systems by monitoring and analyzing anomalies, troubleshooting, developing sustainable solutions, and ensuring clean documentation. You will design the interfaces and data flows between CPMS, OCPP/OCPI, roaming, EMP and CPO partners, payment and billing systems, as well as internal systems such as our ERP. You will identify optimization potential and increase the quality and performance of our operations through the implementation of efficient processes and automation. You will establish and maintain operations standards, document operational processes, and drive the development of sustainable knowledge management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for system architecture and continuous development of charging operations systems (CPMS and Charging Backend).
- Ensure stable system operation through monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and solution development.
- Design interfaces and data flows between various systems including CPMS, OCPP/OCPI, roaming, payment, and internal systems.
- Identify optimization potential and improve operational quality and performance through process efficiency and automation.
- Establish and maintain operations standards, document processes, and promote knowledge management.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience and good knowledge in platform operations and system architecture, ideally in charging infrastructure, IoT, or energy sectors.
- Proficiency in Charging Backends (CPMS) and standards like OCPP/OCPI.
- Additional knowledge in roaming, payment, or billing is a plus.
- Strong ability to capture, structure, and implement requirements in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Structured, independent work style and clear communication skills.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
