About the Role

This is a 4-6 month full-time internship within the investment team, aimed at strengthening redalpine's position as a leading investor and partner for future category-defining companies. The role offers unique insights into the investment process and startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Source and assess new early-stage investment opportunities.
• Review business plans and conduct due diligence on investment opportunities.
• Present and champion investment opportunities.
• Support the building of the portfolio success program.
• Develop expertise across redalpine’s investment sectors.
• Support the team in administrative tasks and portfolio reporting.
• Represent redalpine and strengthen its network.

Requirements

• Excellent academic track record from a top-tier university.
• Background in STEM (e.g. Life Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science) or Business / Economics.
• Prior internships in fast-paced environments (venture capital, start-ups, consulting, or investment banking) is a plus.
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem with a demonstrated passion for technology and Venture Capital.
• Demonstrated curiosity and passion for technology, healthcare, life sciences or deep tech.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate technologies, markets and business models.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Open-minded, communicative and outgoing team player.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in German is a plus.
• If interested in the London office, applicants must have a valid work permit for the UK or be eligible to work in the UK.
