About the Role

Support the delivery of commercial activities within Delivery teams, working alongside the supply chain and contractors to assure and support commercial activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of commercial works information, reviewing works information from other functions and drafting contract documents.
  • Support the development of a contract management plan.
  • Support the delivery of contract management to maintain effective commercial control.
  • Support the administration of the obligations of the Project Manager under the NEC3 Contract.
  • Support the valuation of variations and compensation events.
  • Support contract payments assessment.
  • Support the review and analysis of supply chain monthly reports.
  • Support input into contract level performance information into monthly MBR reports.
  • Support the settlement of supply chain disputes.
  • Support estimate reviews at all stages.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.

Requirements

  • Ability to administer contracts to deliver infrastructure or similar capital projects and programmes.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of dispute resolution processes and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of common commercial policies, processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of contract, commercial and risk management methods.
  • Must already have the Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.
  • Right to Work validation prior to the interview stage.
