Responsibilities
- Independently manage client engagements from scoping to delivery, ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Develop strategies and deliver high-quality work products within timeframes and budget.
- Analyze client business needs, identify key issues, and propose solutions.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and inform stakeholders of project status and outcomes.
- Manage and motivate junior colleagues, supporting their professional development.
- Stay updated on business and retail investment trends relevant to clients.
- Identify and execute client/vendor entertainment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
- Clearly articulate Alpha's offerings and credentials.
- Contribute significantly to business development efforts.
- Undertake effective account management, including financial management.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of proven experience in delivering consulting or change projects within a leading financial institution or consulting firm.
- Significant experience within 'blue-chip' Financial Services organizations, preferably in Wealth Management & Retail Investments.
- Experience with Target Operating Model, business processes, and/or IT solutions in areas such as Distribution, CRM, regulatory compliance/risk, data models & migrations, middle & back office processes, outsourcing, cost optimisation, or platform optimisation.
- Business development/account management experience and a proactive interest in practice growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to show initiative, build strong relationships with new clients, and maintain existing ones.
- Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead clients and colleagues.
- Mentorship and coaching skills towards team members.
- In-depth understanding of market trends, drivers, and outlook in the Life, Pensions, and Retail Investments market.
- Strong academic background with an aptitude and desire for proactive learning and development.
- Business language fluency in English.
- Willingness to travel.
