About the Role
The Associate Account Executive (AAE) role at Navan is more than an entry-level position. You will shape six- and seven-figure deals alongside our Senior Account Executives, operating as an equal partner. This is a fast track for ambitious talent aiming to master complex enterprise software sales from the ground up. We are looking for future sales leaders, not long-term associates. Prove your performance and reach the next level within 15 months.
Responsibilities
- Analyze organizational structures, identify pain points, and link Navan's value to target customers' business objectives.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies for decision-makers in close collaboration with the senior team.
- Schedule meetings and actively shape the overall economic concept.
- Qualify potential new customers, identifying budget holders and internal champions to provide crucial insights.
Requirements
- First professional experience in areas such as management consulting, M&A, private equity, strategy, or a similarly analytically demanding field.
- Ability to ask the right questions to identify the core of a problem.
- Founder mentality and ability to work independently.
- Ability to find solutions where others see obstacles and take initiative.
- Ability to decipher the structure of large corporations and logically deduce which stakeholders need to be involved and their respective motivational factors.
- Confident demeanor and articulate communication skills when interacting with Vice Presidents and Board Members.
- Focus on selling measurable business impact rather than just features.
