About the Role
The IT Application Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and supporting various applications such as Inventory management, POS, and B2B/B2C services for Japan. This role collaborates with application support, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to deliver retail solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Work under CDT organization as a dedicated resource for application management.
- Manage local front-end applications and cooperate with global teams and local vendors, understanding business requirements.
- Manage and collaborate with local vendors and support internal applications and maintenance teams for stable omnichannel platform operation.
- Develop front-end systems roadmaps to fulfill local user requirements.
- Coordinate and manage application projects to define local IT strategy and deliver IT solutions in compliance with global IT policy.
- Adapt to change and continuously improve the system platform using new technologies aligned with IT direction.
- Serve as the key contact for business functions to ensure workable and efficient IT support.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems to achieve business strategy and objectives.
- Lead IT-related application projects and be accountable for outcomes.
- Lead the team and support individual employee growth.
