About the Role

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a skilled PLM Administrator to help product and program teams maximize the value derived from engineering systems like PLM and CAD. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing improvements to engineering systems and steering future investments, with a focus on sovereign engineering systems that handle export-controlled goods and data.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering partners to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
  • Provide training and support to users during and post-implementation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new features, including defining project scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify and address issues, bugs, and enhancement requests.
  • Provide support for the installation and post go-live of upgrades and new modules within PLM.
  • Work with vendors and third-party service providers to implement upgrades and new modules.
  • Collect infrastructure and configuration questions for PLM and integrations.
  • Ensure engineering data management practices comply with export control obligations (DSGL, DTC Act).
  • Support access control and data segregation for export-controlled technical data within PLM systems.
  • Contribute to the administration of engineering systems within classified environments as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in installing, developing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining Engineer Systems (PLM, CAD, CAE, SysML, etc.) OR 5+ years as a systems administrator/engineer in Defence or a highly regulated environment with a willingness to specialize into engineering systems administration.
  • Understanding of CAD/CAM/CAE systems and their integration with PLM solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Linux systems, along with software installations.
  • Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain an NV2 clearance.
