About the Role

Anaplan is seeking an Enterprise Strategic Account Executive for the Automotive Industry to drive sales and account management of complex technology solutions for major enterprises. This role involves proposing Anaplan's highly flexible platform to key decision-makers, focusing on finance and operations alignment to achieve short-term goals and support future growth. This is a key position to accelerate Anaplan's growth and customer transformation, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver value and expand revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business challenges and propose Anaplan solutions for major strategic accounts in the assembly manufacturing industry (primarily automotive and construction/agricultural machinery).
  • Conduct strategic presentations to C-level executives (CEO, CFO, CRO, CIO, Supply Chain Head, HR Head, etc.).
  • Build and drive account plans and opportunity management processes.
  • Conduct sales activities using Anaplan's value-based sales methodology and ensure accurate business forecasting.
  • Identify and expand cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Develop strategic sales plans and execute accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales development, marketing, solution consultants, and customer success teams.

Requirements

  • Over 8 years of experience in consultative sales of SaaS solutions to Fortune 2000 companies.
  • Proven track record of sales to C-level stakeholders.
  • Successfully closed multiple large deals with an Annual Contract Value (ACV) of over 100 million JPY.
  • Possess a reliable executive network with clients and partners.
  • Experience coordinating and driving complex internal and external teams.
  • Connections and experience engaging with department heads to C-level executives within the assembly manufacturing industry.
  • Deep understanding and sales experience in the assembly manufacturing industry.
  • Business knowledge and practical experience in supply chain, finance, HR, sales & marketing planning, processes, and decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency (spoken and written).
