About the Role
Provide expert assistance to customers, build ongoing business relationships, and efficiently provide parts and solutions, potentially utilizing mechanical aptitude to solve problems. This role offers a growth path toward sales or management careers.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility
- Clarify customer needs, conduct research, and recommend parts
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction
- Process quotes, take orders, and provide post-order service
- Utilize mechanical aptitude to help solve customer problems or processes
Requirements
- 6 months of customer service experience preferred
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills, including English grammar
- Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search engine
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
- SAP / ERP experience preferred but not required
- Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics preferred but not required
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
