About the Role

FanDuel is seeking a Media Planning Associate to support the Investment Strategy & Media Planning team. This role focuses on campaign planning, optimization, and reporting for the FanDuel Sportsbook Product, requiring strong paid media strategy and planning experience in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, optimization, and reporting of media strategy.
  • Assist with up-leveling channel mix allocation through operationalizing measurement signals and a coordinated test and learn agenda.
  • Support ongoing creative, audience, and tactical testing across the funnel, helping implement test plans and document results.
  • Identify white space opportunities and execute plans to understand their impact.
  • Assist in analyzing performance data and identifying insights to inform optimizations and future testing.
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and competitive reporting, summarizing performance, key learnings, and next steps.
  • Assist in the media briefing and planning process, along with ongoing budget management and portfolio optimization.
  • Own centralized documentation and process tracking.
  • Help ensure accurate reporting, billing, and pacing in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with platform representatives to stay informed on best practices, new formats, and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on paid media experience with a focus on investment, performance planning strategy, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of paid media fundamentals, including targeting, bidding, creative testing, placements, tagging, and reporting.
  • Highly detail-oriented, coachable, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for digital marketing, social innovation, and emerging platform trends.
