About the Role

As a 3IC (Third in Charge) at JD Sports, you will be a key member of the store leadership team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional customer and employee experiences. You will act as a sales leader, motivating your team by example and coaching them to achieve sales targets and uphold company standards. This role directly contributes to the store's success through energetic leadership, a collaborative approach, and a deep understanding of retail best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Model great customer service for every customer, every time.
  • Visibly drive service outcomes by coaching the team to deliver exceptional service and a ‘service over task’ mentality.
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and KPI performance.
  • Utilize financial reporting to identify trade trends and opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Assist the Management Team to complete weekly visual merchandising direction & promotional launches.
  • Assist in recruiting, inducting, and developing team members.
  • Uphold company retail standards and deliver visual excellence.
  • Work with the BOH team to ensure product availability and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing service role.
  • Previous retail experience in a key holder or entry-level leadership role.
  • Results-driven with demonstrated experience in leading teams to successfully deliver results and KPIs.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Consent to a VEVO Check to verify working rights.
