About the Role

As a Financial Aid Administrator (FAA), you will guide current, prospective, and alumni students through the financial aid process. You will administer, determine eligibility, and process student financial aid to maintain positive cash flow, while collaborating with students, faculty, and staff on campus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, determine eligibility, and process student financial aid.
• Process verification and disbursements.
• Award state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy.
• Counsel students and parents.
• Provide estimates and packaging information.
• Manage Default Management and Financial Literacy programs.
• Perform auditing.
• Run reports to ensure work integrity.
• Interact with other departments to assist students.
• Maintain up-to-date information on new federal regulations.
• Assist with Private Loans.
• Package VA benefits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Financial Aid experience.
• Campus VUE experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge is recommended, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task.
