About the Role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees and assists with the daily operations of Champions Bar and Main Dining Room at the Lakeside Clubhouse. This role also supports banquets and club events, ensuring exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise service in the Champions Bar, main dining room, and banquets.
  • Assist in the coordination of banquets and in-house special events with the Catering department.
  • Provide floor supervision during restaurant and banquet service.
  • Assist with overall direction, execution, and coordination of F&B and Banquet operations.
  • Interact with members to ensure the quality of guest and member service.
  • Maintain reservations via e-mail and phone.
  • Update the Club website.
  • Address employee issues on the spot and report them to the Food and Beverage Director.
  • Hold staff accountable to Olympic Club standards and procedures.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
  • Assist with comprehensive training sessions for staff.
  • Assist in expediting food in restaurants to monitor consistency and timeliness.
  • Manage Northstar POS for food and wine menu revisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all occupational, health and safety standards, alcohol service laws, and Club policies.
  • Respond to and resolve member/guest inquiries, issues, concerns, or dining experiences.

Requirements

  • Must have a passion for creating outstanding guest service experiences.
  • Must be able to ensure all member requests and expectations are met and exceeded daily.
  • Must be able to work proactively and anticipate service needs.
  • Must function as a team player.
  • Must be able to think clearly, analyze, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Must exercise good judgment in all situations.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including Northstar POS, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must have the ability and knowledge to update the Club website.
  • Regular attendance is required based on business expectations and needs.
  • Adheres to all federal, state, local and San Francisco laws regarding health, safety, and employment.
