About the Role

As a Consultant on the Professional Services team, you will serve as a trusted advisor, partnering with customers to deliver successful software implementations from project kickoff through go-live. You will leverage your expertise in system configuration, data conversion, training, and business process consulting to help customers achieve their business objectives and maximize the value of their investment. Working closely with customers, project teams, and both internal and external stakeholders, you will gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment between project goals and organizational priorities. As a key member of the MGA Professional Services team, you will combine technical knowledge with business acumen to drive project success, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and serve as the primary resource responsible for the successful implementation of assigned projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation efforts for complex projects, including requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and execution of business needs, functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise SaaS implementation projects from kickoff to user acceptance testing, training, and delivery.
  • Work with the technical implementation team to ensure technical requirements are understood and completed.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure relevant customer feedback is considered in the roadmap and feature/bug prioritization.
  • Execute data conversion tasks, author project deliverables, and provide application configuration consulting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of business objectives and technical solutions, aligning them with overarching PS goals.
  • Communicate project deliverables at all levels, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality execution.
  • Participate in project planning, scoping calls, and estimation activities, providing insights and contributing to project scope definition, including writing statements of work (SOWs).
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into configurable requirements.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations for optimizing project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and QA, as well as other project/program managers, to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Proactively identify and address project issues, risks, and dependencies to mitigate potential challenges and ensure project success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide other consultants, providing support, feedback, and sharing best practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and software development.
  • Adapt and remain flexible to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced software development environment.

Requirements
