About the Role

This role involves partnering closely with the Sales team to finalize critical customer deals, supporting key customer transactions for Atlassian, and providing pragmatic, business-minded guidance on customer and contract-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate enterprise cloud agreements for Atlassian's products and services.
  • Partner with Sales and other internal teams to drive customer deals to execution.
  • Provide pragmatic, business-minded guidance on customer and contract-related issues.
  • Develop support materials and provide trainings to educate Sales teams on contract terms and other legal issues.
  • Assist with special projects, including those focused on scaling legal processes.

Requirements

  • Qualification to practice law in your local jurisdiction.
  • Extensive experience negotiating outbound SaaS contracts is a must.
  • Ability to handle data protection, cybersecurity and revenue recognition issues in connection with commercial contracts.
  • Passion for understanding our customers, products, culture, and business model.
  • Excellent business judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly with a variety of teams.
  • Willingness to handle new areas of responsibility.
  • You take ownership, roll up your sleeves, and get things done, while managing risk.
  • You work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with business stakeholders.
  • You bring empathy and understanding to your conversations with customers.
  • You effectively navigate a decentralized and complex organization.
