About the Role

TPC Harding Park is seeking a General Utility/Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas, wash and store dishes, and assist with food preparation. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our Food & Beverage Department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms, and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area.
• Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items.
• Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area.
• Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines, to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently.
• Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items.
• Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems.
• Notify supervisor of any malfunctions.
• Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand.
• Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed.
• Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays.
• Special projects or other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; kneel; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to comply with all applicable federal, state and local safety and health regulations.
