About the Role
TOCA Social is the world's first dining and entertainment experience with a football twist. We are looking for a Chef to ensure the smooth running of our Heart of House operations and create exceptional guest experiences through a passion for creating delicious dishes.
Responsibilities
- Support teammates across the kitchen with the preparation and delivery of TOCA Social dishes.
- Ensure high kitchen standards at all times, including cleanliness, food quality, and presentation.
- Work closely with teammates and wider venue teammates to exceed guest expectations.
- Escalate maintenance issues to your leader.
- Ensure all products are stored and labelled correctly.
- Adhere to all TOCA Social standards and guidelines, as well as statutory regulations (e.g., Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergy processes).
- Communicate in a clear, warm, and friendly manner to all teammates within the venue.
- Support the kitchen and wider venue during events.
- Be a team player ready to support other departments as needed.
- Support junior members of the team to develop their skills.
- Monitor stock levels, ensuring everything is maintained, correctly stored, and labelled.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure minimum wastage and follow portion control guidelines.
- Exceed expectations in a positive, surprising, and delightful manner.
- Be flexible in covering a range of duties in line with business needs when required.
Requirements
- A punctual and reliable individual with a great attitude and work ethic.
- A quick learner with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about delivering top-quality experiences.
- A willingness and desire to make people happy and deliver genuine and memorable experiences.
- Ready to roll up sleeves and get stuck in (and help out other departments and teammates!).
- Experience working within a kitchen as a Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or similar.
Skills
- Food Safety Level 2 qualified (ideally but not a deal breaker)
