About the Role

Mirage is an AI-native video platform that intelligently orchestrates production and editing through natural language. Our models leverage contextual awareness to execute creative decisions, improving productivity for experienced teams and making video creation accessible to anyone. As an early member, you’ll tackle foundational problems in generative media, driving an outsized impact on the future of creative expression.

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive user experiences across web and mobile products, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to define product requirements and deliver thoughtful solutions.
  • Own design workstreams from concept through execution, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Translate research insights, product requirements, and data into clear design recommendations.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality across products.
  • Present design concepts, rationale, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Participate in design critiques and reviews, providing and incorporating feedback.
  • Advocate for users throughout the product development process and champion a user-centered approach.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-4 years of experience in UX or product design, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, including user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and common research methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and rationale effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
