Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and monitor Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.
  • Ensure the safety, training, and performance of all assigned employees and contractors.
  • Work closely with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure successful plant operation.
  • Monitor reliability-based systems, including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
  • Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment.
  • Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability.
  • Analyze and eliminate repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA, and similar techniques.
  • Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF of major equipment.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
  • Provide ongoing reports on CBM program status.
  • Gather input and facilitate task completion through others.
  • Research solutions to technical problems.
  • Coordinate SAP system operations for preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with maintenance planners.
  • Provide technical support, training, and development for maintenance functions, focusing on reliability concepts.
  • Demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and exhibit safety behaviors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is heavily preferred.
  • Must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
  • Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
