About the Role

Pinterest's award-winning in-house creative team, the House of Creative, is seeking an Experiential Manager to bring the Pinterest brand to life through events, experiences, and programming. This role will develop and execute experiential programs to drive brand comprehension, deepen brand love, and build advocacy for Pinterest as a content, advertising, and shopping platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on doer, problem-solver, and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, positive environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, on-brand experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute experiential programs end-to-end, from planning and pre-production through on-site execution and post-event debriefs and reconciliation, ensuring alignment to key messaging, brand standards, and business goals.
  • Contribute to creative development for events and experiences, partnering with designers, writers, and strategists to shape concepts that translate product and brand stories into impactful activations.
  • Maintain a high bar for craft and quality, ensuring agency and vendor output meets Pinterest’s brand guidelines, experiential principles, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Comms, Policy) to surface insights and craft compelling stories and attendee journeys for regional and global audiences.
  • Manage agencies, timelines, budgets, and project workstreams, providing clear updates to stakeholders and escalating risks or trade-offs.
  • Support production craft across key elements such as talent, venues, production design, activations, merchandise, and partnerships, ensuring deliverables are feasible, on-brand, and logistically sound.
  • Build and track project budgets across vendors, making sound recommendations and maintaining accountability for scope, cost, time, and quality.
  • Coordinate and contribute within project teams, aligning roles, timelines, and deliverables, and ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Support contract and vendor management, including scoping, bidding, and day-to-day oversight.
  • Present project plans and updates to stakeholders, participate in reviews, synthesize feedback, and help keep teams inspired, aligned, and focused.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate planning and performance, finding operational efficiencies and building frameworks for scaled impact.

Requirements

  • Proven track record owning and executing experiential programs that translate product and brand stories into impactful activations, ideally across multiple markets or regions.
  • 6+ years of experience in event production, ideally gained through a mix of agency and in-house roles.
  • Strong program/project management skills, including building and managing scopes, timelines, RFPs, vendor coordination, risk identification, and post-event evaluation.
  • Solid, hands-on production knowledge and acumen – from fabrication and staging to logistics and on-site operations – and comfort navigating constraints with practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and experience working directly with internal partners and agencies; ability to set expectations, communicate trade-offs, and maintain trust.
  • Clear, confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to walk partners through plans, respond to feedback, and represent work in reviews.
  • Strong creative point of view who contributes thoughtful, on-brand ideas, thinks beyond the obvious when bringing the Pinterest brand to life, and takes pride in creating visually compelling, memorable experiences.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work to improve efficiency, performance and outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, or equivalent experience.
