About the Role

JLL is seeking an Associate Project Manager specializing in Sustainable Building design & construction to join our Sustainability Consulting team. This role supports and manages challenging sustainability projects related to new construction and existing building operations, interacting with clients and vendors to develop collaborative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage industry changing projects
• Deliver challenging sustainability projects related to new construction and existing building operations
• Interact with clients and vendors to develop collaborative solutions
• Manage project related documentation
• Perform research
• Conduct weekly meetings
• Develop reports and memos communicating technical details, processes and action items
• Participate in project meetings, charrettes and presentations
• Keep a detailed record of all topics covered in weekly meetings
• Develop and track sustainability metrics and goals
• Support team with documentation to achieve green building certifications (such as LEED, WELL, Zero Carbon, etc.)
• Provide written and oral comments and reports to design teams, owners, or contractors
• Conduct project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to sustainable design specifications, owner expectations and building codes
• Support project executives on large complex projects and assignments
• Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment
• Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects
• Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in real estate sustainability, corporate environmental management or energy efficiency
• BA/BS degree in environmental science, engineering, real estate, architecture, or related field with strong record of academic achievement
• Possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
