About the Role
The Vice President, Multimedia Sales provides strategic, consultative direction to TelevisaUnivision clients across various platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy to achieve market results and multimedia revenue goals, managing Account Executives and support staff, and driving revenue within the advertising sales team.
Responsibilities
- Maximize DR revenue utilizing national and local breaks
- Cultivate relationships and service new and existing key accounts to increase revenue
- Responsible for delivering sales targets on a quarterly and annual basis
- Represent Univision Portfolio in relationships and deals
- Help lead negotiations internally and externally as necessary
- Manage the performance of Multimedia Account Executives and the sales support team, as well as develop the competencies of direct reports
- Execute sales strategy across Univision platforms to maximize revenue
- Make deal decisions on assigned brands that align with the business needs
- Work with account executives, marketing, and pricing & planning teams to develop integrated packages and programs for RFPs and proactive client pitches
- Provide best-in-class external communications (client/agency)
- Utilize solution-based selling by matching client needs and key Univision properties and strategic initiatives
- Negotiate and work with senior managers, account executives, as well as clients and agency contacts
- Ensure seamless execution with content teams, as well as events and league partners, ensuring successful implementations for all buys and renewals of all business
- Perform ongoing account management for existing clients, to ensure continued agency /customer satisfaction
- Evaluate, plan and present any/all new opportunities to help determine viability for business/revenue potential
- Responsible for delivering their sales targets as provided by the EVP of Multimedia sales
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or extensive, directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 10 + years sales/sale management experience required
- 2+ years of product knowledge in multi-platform sales including Streaming (OTT); Audience/Advanced TV; Digital, and Linear
- Dynamic personality with ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Effective relationships within the ad sales business community
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Prior management/team leadership experience, preferred
- Excellent executive-level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as influencing skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills
- Must be willing to work from office in New York, NY
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis
- Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations, and work extended hours, sometimes on short notice due to project deadlines
- Must be willing to attend after-hour client events
- Ability to travel nationwide if necessary to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events

- Base Salary- $180,000-210,000 + Bonus + Benefits
