About the Role

As an Infill Specialist, you will play a key role in preparing and revitalizing properties for new home installations. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who thrives in an outdoor, team-oriented environment and enjoys a variety of construction and maintenance tasks. You'll be responsible for site preparation, utility installation, heavy equipment operation, and ensuring that our communities are clean, safe, and ready for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lots for new homes by clearing old homes, trees, brush, and utilities
  • Install essential utilities such as water, sewer, electric, and gas lines
  • Pour concrete pads and repair gravel driveways and walkways
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment like tractors, backhoes, and trailers
  • Keep grounds clean, pick-up trash, and assist with snow removal in the winter
  • Track time, material usage, and maintenance tasks in property management software
  • Oversee outside contractors when needed and ensure work meets company standards
  • Perform regular property inspections to maintain community quality
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Be part of a supportive, collaborative team that works together to get the job done
  • Stay up to date on industry knowledge and best practices through training

Requirements

  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Able to travel between multiple communities as needed
  • Comfortable using a tablet and cell phone for completing all required paperwork and work documentation
  • Possess strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Are available for overtime, emergency calls, and weekend work as needed
