About the Role
Join one of Australia’s most iconic bakery brands as a skilled Maintenance Fitter at Tip Top’s Ermington site. This role is for a hands-on fitter who loves solving problems and keeping machines running.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative maintenance and keep equipment running smoothly
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery issues
- Respond to breakdowns and prioritise safe, efficient repairs
- Work with supervisors on root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Maintain logs, registers, and SAP records for all repairs
- Collaborate with production teams to keep operations flowing
Requirements
- Trade qualified Fitter/Machinist
- Safety-first mindset
- Experience in industrial maintenance (food manufacturing preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Forklift licence (highly regarded but not essential)
