About the Role

Argus Search is a specialized HR and Finance recruitment consultancy connecting top talent with leading companies in Berlin. We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of Group Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and further development of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS
• Management of complex accounting and consolidation issues, as well as intercompany reconciliation
• Coordination of financial audits and collaboration with auditors
• Involvement in transfer pricing structures and documentation
• Optimization of group-level accounting and reporting processes
• Liaison with internal departments and external partners (auditors, tax advisors)
• Support in liquidity management and related processes
• Preparation of analyses and contribution to projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in Group Accounting, ideally in a comparable position
• Ideally, a completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting
• Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong affinity for numbers and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Team player with initiative and a high degree of responsibility
• Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
