About the Role

Norman's Hallmark is seeking a qualified Assistant Store Manager for our Jenner's Village, West Grove, Pennsylvania location. We are in the business of helping people capture and share emotions, commemorate special occasions, provide comfort, and celebrate everyday moments.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the culture of the store by leading by example to drive retail sales through genuine customer connection, relationship building, and earning business.
• Believe that the customer always comes first and is the most important individual to our business.
• Assist Store Manager in efficiently managing general store operations, including event planning, shipment processing and merchandising, seamless orders, and promotion management.
• Assist manager in developing and training staff on new products and processes.
• Command a professional and unbiased leadership style, especially in the absence of the store manager.
• Learn and efficiently use our point-of-sale software system to ensure accuracy with inventory, sales, and markdowns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of Retail Supervisory Experience.
• 1 year or more of Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneel; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds (e.g., fixture parts and cartons).
