About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing Rail & Transit team in Ontario. This role supports the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects by providing coordination across project teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners. Responsibilities
- Provide essential coordination support across all phases of project delivery, from initial planning through to successful implementation.
- Assist Project Managers by supporting key project controls, such as scheduling activities, tracking costs, and preparing regular progress reports.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including registers for risks, issues, and actions, as well as governance records.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholder meetings, ensuring the preparation of relevant materials and capturing key outcomes and action items.
- Track progress against established project milestones to proactively identify and highlight potential risks or delays.
- Support contract administration, procurement processes, and document control protocols.
- Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams by promoting effective communication and shared understanding of project objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools and innovative delivery methodologies.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role, ideally within rail, transit, or major infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and controls.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
- Familiarity with Ontario transit programs and agencies (e.g., Metrolinx, TTC) is considered an asset.
Skills
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and clients.
