About the Role
This 8-month COOP opportunity as an Operations Admin Specialist will provide support to the Compliance team's day-to-day activities. You will learn the business, support post-booking quality assurance, and contribute to improving product offerings and functional processes. The role offers exposure to automation initiatives and practical, hands-on experience, with opportunities to collaborate with industry experts in equipment finance.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Compliance team.
- Maintain and organize compliance records in line with regulatory and company requirements.
- Support Operational Controls, including documentation review, compliance and automation efforts, and insurance coverage assessments.
- Gather business requirements for process improvement initiatives.
- Provide input into the design and integration of proposed solutions.
- Analyze internal processes and capture data to discuss potential changes and improvements.
- Review contracts.
- Manage small project implementations.

Skills
- Process improvement methodology (Lean, 6 Sigma).
- Understanding of Change management.
- Technology savvy and ability to leverage technology to recommend/create efficiencies in day-to-day operations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including written, verbal and listening).
- People skills.
- Embedding & leveraging technology – Confidence and willingness to learn and integrate AI and emerging technologies.
- Experience with low/no code tools like the Microsoft Power Platform is an asset.
- Experience with generative AI productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot is an asset.
- Critical Thinking – Ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret information and apply logic and problem solving.
- Data Driven– Leverage data and insights to identify, prioritize and improve member experience and business efficiency.
- Curiosity & Flexibility – Comfortable navigating and embracing change and uncertainty.
- Bilingual French is an asset.
