About the Role

This is a high-impact role at a pivotal moment for our business, integrating two distinct packaging organizations, expanding our product portfolio, and building the supply chain infrastructure to support future growth. You will own the end-to-end packaging sourcing strategy across North America, leading a team of Strategy Managers and partnering closely with other Sourcing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Strategy Managers across core packaging categories.
• Drive the integration of the CA and US packaging sourcing teams.
• Build a team culture of urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute short and long-term NA packaging sourcing roadmap.
• Set and oversee the achievement of OKRs on cost, supply chain resilience, innovation, supplier performance, and team development.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to platform sourcing globally.
• Explore and develop innovative supply chain models.
• Support annual budgeting and drive savings initiatives across NA packaging spend.
• Lead multi-million dollar contract negotiations and RFP processes.
• Scale and strengthen our supplier network.
• Manage supply chain risk through dual-sourcing strategies, supplier performance management, and proactive contingency planning.
• Partner with Packaging Engineering to ensure suppliers meet quality and specification requirements.
• Improve inventory management and supply planning approaches across the NA network.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to ensure packaging sourcing strategies support business needs.
• Navigate competing priorities across NA business units and brands.
• Represent NA Packaging Sourcing in global forums.

Requirements

• A strategic packaging sourcing leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering measurable commercial results.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
• An expert negotiator with hands-on experience managing multi-million dollar contracts and complex supplier relationships.
• A data-driven decision maker.
• A strong people leader with proven experience developing diverse, geographically distributed teams.
• A skilled communicator who can translate complex supply chain trade-offs into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
• Agile and self-directed.
• Curious and externally connected.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with significant packaging category experience.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing sourcing teams, ideally across multiple geographies or business units.
• Hands-on experience in RFPs, contract negotiations, category strategy development, and supplier performance management.
• Strong financial acumen including budget management, TCO modeling, and cost driver analysis.
• Experience navigating organizational change, integration, or transformation.
• Flexibility to travel (up to 25%).
• Fluency in Google Suite; comfort with data tools and supply chain systems.

Salary/Compensations

• $158,550—$200,000 USD
