About the Role

Resource Label Group is seeking a Part-Time 2nd Shift Finishing Operator focused on the setup and operation of commercial label inspector machines, including visual quality control. This role involves operating equipment to slit printed material into specified widths and reports to the Finishing Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Receive job assignments and select correct cores and rewind method based on job specifications.
• Review job jackets to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are met.
• Inspect products for quality integrity and package them appropriately.
• Observe material flow through the machine to detect cutting and winding irregularities.
• Ensure the quality of work, including color, size, die cut, perforations, print, and quantity.
• Assist in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging of converting jobs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Remove or replace blades on inspection machines.
• Complete paperwork for each job and package finished goods for shipment.
• Maintain clear and organized work areas and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as requested.
