About the Role
Oversee the content strategy and creative direction for a dynamic, award-winning social program on a significant entertainment account. Define how the brand appears across social platforms, establish best practices, and ensure the work is always ahead of the curve. Guide the overarching direction while partnering with senior client stakeholders and agency leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overarching creative vision across the account.
- Turn vision into briefs and goals that move with the ever-evolving social landscape.
- Translate business objectives, cultural insight, and platform behavior into clear frameworks and priorities.
- Set the creative operational direction for always-on, reactive content, and audience engagement across markets.
- Lead major global and local market social campaigns.
- Ensure all content output aligns with brand positioning, audience expectations, and platform best practices.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and evolution across channels and content formats.
- Shape the future direction of the account and support wider opportunities across additional entertainment briefs and partnerships.
- Maintain ultimate oversight and quality assurance across all content output.
- Uphold a consistently high creative standard across markets, campaigns, and publishing.
- Oversee Creative Directors and wider creative teams to ensure cohesion between campaigns and always-on content.
- Ensure community insights, audience behavior, and platform trends meaningfully inform creative development.
- Spot emerging cultural, platform, and creator trends and translate them into actionable opportunities for teams.
- Build and oversee systems, workflows, and publishing operations that enable teams to work effectively at scale.
- Ensure consistency in ways of working, editorial processes, and publishing standards across accounts and markets.
- Lead and mentor senior content leads, creating clarity, momentum, and alignment across teams.
- Work closely with delivery and operational leads to ensure processes are adopted and continuously refined.
- Balance multiple fast-moving workstreams while maintaining clarity and calm under pressure.
- Act as a senior strategic partner to client stakeholders and agency leadership.
- Lead high-level conversations around content direction, performance, and account growth.
- Translate leadership discussions and business priorities into clear objectives for internal teams.
- Confidently present strategic thinking, creative direction, and performance narratives to senior stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships across client and agency teams.
Requirements
- Significant leadership experience within social and content environments, either from a senior social creative or content strategy background.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-market or global accounts.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, audience behavior, and content ecosystems.
- A strategic mindset paired with strong instincts and impeccable creative judgment.
- Experience building operational systems and frameworks for high-volume content teams.
- Experience leading major campaigns.
- Strong leadership and people management experience across multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Calm, decisive, and highly organized in fast-paced environments.
- Data-informed, with the ability to use insights to evolve strategy and improve performance.
