About the Role
UK Global Account Management is seeking a Global Team Leader to support leading accounts. This high-profile, fast-paced role requires confidence, resilience, and strong prioritization skills, focusing on driving performance, leading teams, and navigating complex challenges for key global accounts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure clients are satisfied with service, team, and account management, aligning the team with brand objectives and exceeding expectations.
- Lead global strategy roadmaps across the client set, ensuring team members deliver against objectives.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for clients.
- Ensure the team provides a best-in-class global service, meeting SLAs across all regions.
- Collaborate with the Global Account Director to maximize client GP through technology and innovation.
- Lead senior strategic meetings with the client set, presenting to senior stakeholders to demonstrate the effectiveness of the affiliate channel.
- Ensure best-in-class processes are in place across the client set.
- Ensure sufficient company communication regarding all clients within the team.
- Take overall responsibility for team members and their performance.
- Take responsibility for the development of team members.
- Take responsibility for the free-flow of communication within the team.
- Ensure an appropriate working environment for team members.
- Provide a point of escalation for team members.
- Nurture a dynamic team environment.
- Ensure good account management practices are delivered effectively by team members.
- Provide feedback to the Global Account Director on team effectiveness, member performance, and service quality.
- Develop ideas that help the team grow and fulfill its goals.
- Show leadership ability to take responsibility for other team members on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements
- 2+ years of account management experience in an affiliate marketing role, with a focus on blue-chip clients.
- High level of industry knowledge and presence within the affiliate community.
- Experience coordinating teams in projects and working practices.
- High level of communication and client relationship skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Awin systems and their application to client needs.
- Excellent account management skills, including the ability to optimize large campaigns.
- Strong affiliate marketing knowledge to present varied campaign options for brands.
- Good understanding of network ethos and ability to manage accounts accordingly.
- Understanding of Awin’s USPs and competitive positioning.
- Leadership approach in dealing with Account Managers and junior team members.
- Relevant account management experience across multiple verticals (e.g., fashion, travel, telecoms).
