About the Role
This Hearing Wellness Advisor role offers a rewarding entry point into a long-term audiology career, supporting clinical care and changing lives. You will support customers throughout their hearing journey, building experience and skills for progression into clinical audiology, backed by Boots Hearingcare.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm and professional welcome
- Carry out hearing screenings and pre-clinic checks
- Support hearing aid maintenance, aftercare, and troubleshooting
- Assist Audiologists with clinic flow and customer preparation
- Confidently discuss hearing health, ear care products, and next steps with customers
- Manage administration, appointments, and customer records accurately
- Play an active role in delivering a high-quality, customer-centric service
Requirements
- GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C / 5 or above in Maths, English, and Science
- Strong performance and customer focus
- Ability to balance academic study with clinical practice
- A strong customer-service background (healthcare or retail ideal)
- Confidence working with customers in a consultative environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and administration skills
- A genuine interest in hearing health and progression into audiology
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science to support future QHAD entry
