About the Role

Join the London Cundall VT department and the wider Cundall engineering team. This role involves site surveying, assessing existing vertical transportation equipment, report writing, developing specifications, managing project delivery, and acting as the CDM Principal Designer. You will represent Cundall in client interactions, provide clear advice, and contribute to design meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake site surveying and assessment of existing lifts and vertical transportation equipment.
  • Write reports and develop specifications for vertical transportation systems.
  • Manage and monitor project delivery for clients.
  • Act as the CDM Principal Designer.
  • Represent Cundall in client interactions and provide clear, concise advice.
  • Attend and contribute to design meetings, offering vertical transportation advice on design issues.
  • Provide advice on new systems, refurbishment, and maintenance works.

Requirements

  • Experience in the lift and escalator field is essential.
  • Lone working and safe working on lifts are role requirements.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead client interactions, build relationships, and take responsibility for delivering excellent service is key.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite of software is required.
  • A driving license is essential due to the need to visit sites.
  • Experience in a previous lift consultancy, maintenance contract management or similar role is essential.

Skills

  • Passion for delivering excellence and exceeding client expectations.
  • Willingness to learn and challenge peers.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite.
