About the Role
We are recruiting for a Sales Assistant to join our friendly Jewson branch. This role requires a passion for sales and a willingness to support the team. All employees receive relevant training to become multiskilled in all branch duties.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively pursue new customer accounts through strategic prospecting.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by understanding their needs, upselling and cross-selling solutions.
- Ensure new customers are successfully onboarded and activated, maximising spend potential within the first 13 weeks.
- Drive increased profitability by optimising margins and increasing the share of wallet from each customer.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations and presentations to build rapport and drive sales.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities, customer feedback and market insights.
