Responsibilities
- Act as the contract administrator, ensuring all contractual obligations under the FIDIC form of contract are properly executed and administered.
- Lead and manage the contract administration process, including notices, instructions, claims, and variations, ensuring compliance with contractual timelines and procedures.
- Coordinate closely with the client, consultant, and contractor teams to ensure alignment and effective communication on contractual and commercial matters.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely advice on FIDIC contract interpretation, claims assessment, and dispute resolution.
- Lead and attend key project and progress meetings, providing expert guidance on contract administration and performance monitoring.
- Implement and monitor key project procedures, ensuring consistent compliance with project governance and FIDIC requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing contract administration processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience administering FIDIC construction contracts.
- Proven ability to manage contract correspondence, notices, and claims with precision and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and confident managing documentation and processes across multiple stakeholders.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and their practical application on construction projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
Experience Level
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Education Level
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Contract administration certification (e.g. MRICS, MCIOB, PMP) is ideal.
