About the Role
Buena is seeking a core engineering team member to help modernize the real estate industry. You will work directly with founders, product, and design teams to build and scale software that simplifies property management and homeownership.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship product features end-to-end from concept to rollout.
- Take ownership of product components and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Improve performance and reliability of core systems.
- Collaborate with product and design to translate operational workflows into AI-enabled software.
- Shape engineering culture, practices, and technical standards.
Requirements
- Experience shipping and operating production web applications end-to-end.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js or comparable full-stack environments.
- Ability to independently design, build, and deliver features with minimal guidance.
- Understanding of modern web systems, APIs, frontend state management, and backend architecture.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations.
