About the Role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a leader to drive major account sales within the Financial Services Industry (FSI), engaging with large enterprise clients. This role involves building and leading Regional Enterprise Sales Teams to exceed company objectives, foster a high-performance sales culture, and mentor team members. The ideal candidate is motivated by empowering clients and thrives on solving complex cybersecurity challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and developing a team of quota carrying and lead generation sales professionals
  • Own and drive revenue outcomes within the assigned region, territories, and/or district, exceeding personal and team sales quotas and goals
  • Review weekly forecast and business outcomes with representatives and sales leaders
  • Coach, develop, and mentor representatives in all aspects of the sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, forecasting, and closing opportunities, while using our channel/partner network
  • Build sales analysis for insight into weekly, monthly and quarterly execution and strategies
  • Attend weekly regional forecast and management calls to provide Inside Sales perspective
  • Work closely with other District Sales Managers on crafting a business strategy to accomplish company goals
  • Track sales activity, provide sales projects, and create and analyze metrics

Requirements

  • Sales experience and management experience, preferably handling both quotas carrying and lead generation inside sales teams
  • Enterprise sales experience required, networking or network security industries strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and structure within large Japanese financial institutions
  • Established executive-level relationships in the financial sector
  • Demonstrated success in selling to large, complex FSI clients
  • Experience with Channel and Partner Sales models
  • Consistently achieve sales goals through leadership and personal goals
  • Able to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changing needs
  • Hired, developed and retained successful sales talent
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales methodology that can be translated and coached
  • Built strong cross-functional relationships across clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Previous practice in Salesforce.com
  • Business travel as necessary
  • Native-level fluency in Japanese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Japanese business culture and commercial practices
  • Business-level English proficiency, both spoken and written, sufficient for internal communication and reporting in a global organization
  • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship
