About the Role
White & Case offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships, research assistant roles, or legal clerkships. Interns are actively involved in client work from the beginning, assigned to a practice group, and integrated into global, interdisciplinary teams handling complex mandates. This role provides a chance to expand competencies and build expertise within an international commercial law firm.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in client work.
- Gain insights into the daily advisory practice of an international commercial law firm.
- Observe lawyers in their tasks and gain impressions behind the scenes.
- Work in teams and be involved in various mandates.
- Learn about the daily work in an international law firm.
- Support teams and gain insights into the firm's work.
- Participate in various firm events, internal lectures, and workshops.
- Attend training sessions (e.g., English Law Basics, Legal Tech, IT).
Requirements
- Students of law.
- At least in the 4th semester or have successfully completed the intermediate examination.
- Interest in economic contexts.
- Good English skills are advantageous.
- A lead time of 4-6 months for application is ideal.
- Internship duration should be at least four weeks, in consultation with the intern.
