About the Role

White & Case offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships, research assistant roles, or legal clerkships. Interns are actively involved in client work from the beginning, assigned to a practice group, and integrated into global, interdisciplinary teams handling complex mandates. This role provides a chance to expand competencies and build expertise within an international commercial law firm.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in client work.
Gain insights into the daily advisory practice of an international commercial law firm.
Observe lawyers in their tasks and gain impressions behind the scenes.
Work in teams and be involved in various mandates.
Learn about the daily work in an international law firm.
Support teams and gain insights into the firm's work.
Participate in various firm events, internal lectures, and workshops.
Attend training sessions (e.g., English Law Basics, Legal Tech, IT).

Requirements

Students of law.
At least in the 4th semester or have successfully completed the intermediate examination.
Interest in economic contexts.
Good English skills are advantageous.
A lead time of 4-6 months for application is ideal.
Internship duration should be at least four weeks, in consultation with the intern.
