About the Role

Our client, one of the largest municipal waste management companies in Germany, is dedicated to making Berlin greener, cleaner, and more livable. They are seeking dedicated individuals to contribute to a sustainable future for the capital.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the operation of boiler units.
  • Conduct walk-throughs, including inspection, maintenance, and prompt troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with maintenance and supervise/control external companies.
  • Implement specified boiler operating programs during regular operations.
  • Safely isolate operational resources and units for maintenance and repair work.
  • Monitor central plant parameters and maintain documentation.
  • Support emergency response measures and operational safety guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes within power plant operations.

Requirements

  • Completed technical training (e.g., electrician, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician).
  • Qualification as a power plant operator.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
  • Experience in operating energy, power plant, or industrial plants is advantageous.
  • Technical understanding of measurement, control, and regulation technology.
  • Reliable and safety-conscious work approach.
  • Teamwork and good communication skills.
